Mr Mnsrinnitr opened his case to the jury and called Dr. Andrew and seven other witnesses in support of the allegations of tyFor the petitioner, Mr Hayes called five witnesses, after which His Honour summed up and submitted to tli-e . jury five issues, all of which were , fnnnrl in favour of to respondent. A question of law still remains to bo arguod, and His Honour notified : counsel that lie would take; the argu- : ment at 9 o'clock this nnwnii'tf. | Jane Elizabeth Inwood v. Frederick i Arthur Inwood. —This was a wife's pe- ' tifcion for divorco on the ground of desertion for a period of upwards of five years. No defence had been filed nor appearance entered. Mr. Maginnity appeared for the petitioner who was examined in support of her petition. A rule nisi was granted to be absolute in three months, petitioner 1 to have custody of the children of tho j marriage. Costs as per scale were illowed against tho respondent. •
