A meeting of the London Chambers of Commerce, after Mr Bright, a Commonwealth engineer, had read a paper on the Atlantic cable position, passed a resolution urging tho Government to co-operate with tho overseas Dominions in the establishment of an all-British tnins-Atlnntio cable connecting with the Pacific cablo.
