Cartsrton, Nov. 29.

A public meeting on the licensing question was held here last night, at which several Masterton business mon spoke of the good eifects of No-license in Masterton. At the close of the meeting the following resolution was put: 'yihat this, the largest representative audience of Carterton citizens, having heard the convincing statement of Masterton business men re the good effects of No-license in Masterton, decides its intention of supporting No-license at the coming poll. The motion was carried unanimously.
