Jlout then took the cliiilr, and thanked the tribe for the honour thdy had done him and said he would do his best to carry out the functions of his high office, but he recognised that coming after such good chiefs as Savages Fell, Cock, and Maginnity lie was undertaking a difficult tasic After an interval for supper, a short programme was gone through towards which the following members contributed : Savage Bush a song, pianoforte duet, Savages V. and A. Rout; Savage Thompson snng, Savage F. McCabe gave a musical monologue, Sub-Chid T. Field yarned a few, Savages G Burli and A.
