HAYWAED'S PICTURES. Another excellent programme was screened at the Theatre Royal on Saturday evening, most of ihe pictures meeting with well merited applause. "The New Zealand Military Tournament at Palmerston North" proved to be an exceptionally interesting series of pictures, many of those taking part in the tournament being clear".y recognisable. "On the. Banks of the Danube" was a, magnificent scenic film, ndbio buildings and beautiftil scenery being shown to the dnldojcer .as the ferry boat is rapidly making its way through Austria and Bavaria. A subject that seemed to appeal to many in the audience was- "The Music Master" which depicted a story full of interest and pathos. "The Gaumont Graphic" contained art excellent record of the world's doings. Some capital comic films were screened. The best of these were "The Poison Labe." and "Papa's First Outing." "The Arapahoes" depicted a dramatic Indian story, showing the pluck and daring displayed in many, ways by the early settlers in the red man's country. During the ovening the Haywarcl orchestra played appropriate selections. The programme will be repeated thisl evening and tomorrow.
