FULLERS' PICTURES.

At the School of Music on Saturday afternoon the juvenile element of Nelson packed the capacious building in answer to the irresistible call of "Robinson Crusoe," a pantomine fi'.m which was screened to the immense satisfaction of the yoiing audience. In addition to the main attraction, which was in every way a deservedly successful production,1 a splendid programme of fourteen long films chosen especially to appeal to tho children, was shown and kept up tho enjoyable entertainment till nearly five o'clock. On Saturday evenirg the programme was changed slightly to adapt •it to an adult audience —though "Robinson Crusoe" was repeated, and this splendid dramatisation of Defoe's famous work is enjoyable to old and young Another film of great merit is "The Runaway Engine," which works the audience up to a pitch of excitement by some very realistic and stirring incidents. "Ruth and Boaz" was a Biblical story told by moans of beautiful and lengthy film in colours, which reflects much credit to tho French firm of Pathe Frcres, and marks a great step in the advancement of kincmatography. "The Big Scoop" is a drama of the American newspaper world, and gives some splendid acting and contains a fine plot. "The Zoological Gardens at Rome" shows extremely interesting views of some 2000 specimens of birds, animals, and reptiles, and can be recommended as a film of great interest to young and old. "Tontolini and the Motor Car" is one of the funniest pictures Fullers have put on. We are told on good authority that some members of the audience were still laughing over it, when they had left the show a quarter of a mile behind. Numerous other films too good to do justice to in the space here "available, were shown, and well appreciated by the large audience. This programme is to be repeated to-night for the ]ast time, and a new budget of attractions, is promised for Wednesday.
