The directors of the Royal Humane Society made the following awards today :— Gold medal to William Moran, aged 33 years, for rescuing E. W. Edwards from drowning on December 31st, at Bowentown harbour, the Thames. Moran was thrco hours in the water before he could get Edwards ashore. A bronze medal and framed certificate to Eric-Parks Greenhough, ,".£ed 12 years, for rescuing H. L. Jennings, aged 45 years, .from drowning at Sentinel road bay, Ponsonby, last year. A bronzy medal and framed certificate to William Richard CrandaJl,- tor attempting to rescue John F. Schaffer from drowning on December 3rd, at Auckland.
A bronze medal and framed certificate to William .Currie, aged 18 years, for trying to rescue Archibald Mackenzie, from drowning at Balcluthai, on February lflth.
A bronze'medal, to Frederick .Albert Saunders, aged 24 years', for rescuing four men in Wellington harbour on November 22nd.
Certificate, for rescuing from drowning, were awarded to Leslie Alexander Henderson, aged 26 years on September sth; John Riddle Allison, aged 20 year on January 19th ; Harriet Gibbs, aged 22 years, and Olive Davies, i-ged 23 years, on February 15th at Cbromandel.
A certificate, to Wil'.iam Ht.frtie, aged 27 years, for rescuing 61 raid Gorman from being trampled 1o death, at Dunxlin, on September 7tli.
