Wellington, May 1. The Chief Justice. Sir Robert Stgut, will go to Raratonga in June to iry a charge of murdering a native preferred against IV. J. Wigmore, a resident of the Island. Mr Ostler, Crown Prosecutor at Wellington, will also go there to conduct the case for the down.

Sir Robert Stout, while at Raratonga, will look into the charges recently made against the Ideal administration. The nature of the inquiry \vill be loft to "Sir Robert Stout's discretion.
