The following table, covering tha Easter meetings concerning which particulars for the periods dealt with aro available, is interesting. The first column shows investments at Easter /■aces before the licensing of the bookmakers, the second column deals with the last corresponding period when bookmakers were operating, and tho third column shows the totals at the first Easter after the abolition of tho bookmaker:—-
