There was a" very big crowd for an. autumn meeting. Lord Dudley and Sir Thomas Gihson-Car-michael, Lady Carmichael, and the Duchess of Bedford were among the visitors. The results were :—

Hurdles: Battery (9.3) 1, Hayrick (10.0) 2, King's ltansomo (11.7) 3. Tea starters. Wion easily. llansom« was a bad tliird ; time 5.50}. Ascot Vale: Sconser 1, Flaith 2 Wilaii (lOlbs penalty) 3. The others were, Durdans, Two Brigs, Piastre, Blythsome, Giclgiel, Sweet Malt, Fut-ile-Wiklflower colt, Eupliornian-Gazelle iilly, Abbeite. Piastre Blythsome and Gidgiel were the first to break the line. Sweet Malt led from the the distance, Sconser, Wilari and Flaitli all challenging. Sconser drew away and won by H lengths; time I.IGJ. Cup : The Parisian (Bolton) 1, Apple Pie (McLachlan) 2, Diabolo (Lambert) 3. Scratching : Patrouatus, Bobaded, Adgis, Miiemon. Conge led past the ■stand from Flavian, Herova, Prizefighter, Aurofodina, Matouree, The Parisian, Bolan, Irish and Apple Pie. The latter moved up to sixth at the bridge. Conge led past the shods by 2J- lengths fiom Prizefiglitcr. Herova, ] Applie Pie, Tho Parisian, a.iul Aurofodina made th:> running and then The Parisian passed and took command from Applie Pic. The Parisian led into the straight with everything his own way, Apple Pis being palpably do.ue. Won easily by eight length;;, l\ lengths between second and third; time 3.57J-.

Steeplechase: No Trouble (9.0) 1, Leah Keeshiia 9.3) 2, Boisdale (11.7) 3. The others were: Confederate, Nigel, Player, Southerly, Eucambenfi, Acute Angle, and Goldan. Brown. Acute Anglo fell at the first fence, and Player led tlic field from No Trouble, Golden Hrow.ii and Boisdale to the sheds. .No Troublo led over the la«t femce. from Golden Brown and Loali Kopshna. No Trouble led into the straight and stalled off an effort by Leah Kceshna. Won by 1J lengths, 6 lengths between second and thirdtime 4,195,

Bourke Handicap: Manchester (8 9) 1, Newara. (7.9) 2, Mala (8.12) 3. There were. 20 runners. Maltchester led all the way and won by a length; time 1.28j.

Junior Handicap: North Woodloiffh (7.3) 1, Washtern (7.2) 2, Sanskrit (7.9) 3. Twelve started. The winner led all the way. Won by lj lengths; time 1.17.
