SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIPS. 1 ho swimming championships of the N'llson Boys' College were held in tinCollege baths yesterday afternoon. Th( weather conditions were ideal, some capital spurt being witnessed, and each event was kwnly contested. The senior championship was won by Ciis(. with 13 poi-its, Hampson second with 10 points, and Bell third with points. Young won the junior championship with 11 points, Bosselmau second with 10 points, and Robinson third with 4 points. Diving for Plates: Page, 2o plates, 1 ; Harknesf, 2! plates, 2 ; Cliaytor, 23 plain;, 3. Beginners' Race, handicap: O'Hrien sit, and Muir iv, 2secs, dead heat, I : Wells Ssees 3 ; time 20 3-o:-:rcs. In the swim oil' Muir iv won on the touch. 100 yards Junior Cup: .I'osselinan I. Young 2, Robison 3: time 1.21 1-5. 1(30 yards Senior Cup: C'hiisp 1, Hampson 2, Bell 3; time 2.3 4-5. Plunge.: Cooper 1, Hawkc 2, Kay 3. Distance 38ft 11 ,'in. Apple Race (final): Burnes 1, Saxon 2. "' Neat Header: Christ I, Bennett 2.
