On Wednesday night several friends travelled to the Boys' Industrial School, Stoke, and entertained--the children at a very enjoyable musical evening. The company included Mr W. T. Ward and the Misses Ward (2), Miss Armstrong, Mr and Mrs Kirton, the Rcw. Father Finnerty, and Mr Coombes, junior. The entertainment included songs, piano and orchestral se'.ections, recitations, aaid humorous monologues, and was thoroughly enjoyed by the children and the members of the staff. At the conclusion the manager thanked the entertainers* and three hearty cheers were given bjj the boys.
