TAKAKA STOCK SALES.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercanti'e Agency Company Ltd., report having held their Takaka sale on the Show grounds last Tuesday., when a large quantity of stock was offered to a full attendance of buyers, who were present from the West Coast, Nelson, and Motueka, as well as the surrounding districts. Sheep sold well, and we cleared tho whole of our entry at satisfactory prices The following are some of*the sales: Breeding ewes 9s 6d 9s 9d, 10s, 10s 3d, 10s 4d, 10s 7d, 11s, lls 4d; fat wethers up to 11s 8d; fat lambs to 9s 4d; owe lambs (small) up to 7s; fat owes to 10%, store lambs (mixed sexes) up to 7s.

On Wednesday last wo held our Upper ,Takaka. Ifialo at Harwood's yards. The entry was a small one, but the bulk of it changed hands at satisfactory prices as follows:— Full mouth breeding ewes up to lls 6d; others from 6s 4d to 8s 4d; store lambs up to 8s 3d.
