Particulars are just recoiml of ;>u accident at Cooper's mine, near .Milton on Saturday, when Alexander McJiiickie, aged Hi), was killed by a fall, of coal. When the coal was removed deceased was found in a kneeling position. Dentil was evidently instantaneous. The .skull was fractured, the neck broken, and the hack badly hurt. At the inquest a verdict of accidental death was returned. A trucker named Good was caught by the tail of the fall, and tbn muscles of his left arm stripped from the shoutdor.
