The annual meeting of tho Nelson College Old BojV Football Club will be lieul this evening.

Magistrate, after (hearing tho evidence of the defendant, declined to make an order. The judgment was obtained in July 1908 for £G 19s. Defendant stated that he had been in receipt of £2 a ■week, then of £2 2s 6d, and for the p".;;t tliroe- months his wages had been £2 5s ,with a little overtime. He had ■ wife and two children to keep, and mo. child was earning 8s a week. He paid 10s a week rent. The Magistrate eoir:;U'i!:d that defendant would not havo had sufficient left from £2 13s a week, after providing for a family of four, to ?ati,';fy the judgment.
