THE FEDERAL PARLIAMENT.

PROBABILITY OF A DISSOLUTION. (Received Fob 15, 8.20 p.m.) Sydney, Fob Id. The Labour Conference? adopted a resolution in favour of the establishment of a Court of Criminal Appeal. Another resolution proposed that in the event of a dissolution before October 1913, the rule previously adopted to the c-fiVt that no person who had not been a member of the political Labour League or an afliliated union for three voars shall be eligible as a Labour candidate, shall not pmvent the re-elwtioii of sitting members. Mr Watson, the mover, in reply to a question as to whether he expected a dissolution, said it was most likely. Thr, resolution was carried by an insufficient majority to enable it to be placed on the platform. Consequently the throe years' probation rule stands.
