MISS A. HAYCOCK.

(From "The Colonist," Jan. 4.)

The death occurred last week of Miss Amy Haycock, youngest daughter of Mr James Haycock, formerly of Ngatimoti and now of Richmond. Up till about six weeks ago the deceased to all-appearances enjoyed robust health, but she was stricken down by an illness to which she succumbed. She was widely esteemed on account of liar amiable nature, and her early death will be deeply deplored, not only by the members of the family and those closely associated with 'her, but by all with whom she was acquainted. The, deepest sympathy will be felt for her parents and relatives in their sad bereavement. The interment at the Richmond cemetery on Friday last was attended by a large number of residents, the burial service being conducted by the Rev. A. J. Carr.
