THE RAILWAY TRAFFIC.
The railway ari'-.n'j.'cmeni" were very complete, and worked as smoothly ;i:; could possibly be, every train being on time, jn;d the public v>ere w<'ll pleased. The number of passenger:; was a rrcord for Annivors-ary Day, over a thousand people travelling. The Druids' picnic at Wakeiield accounted for 250 passengers', the Presln;terian Sunday school picnic at the Rii Imion'l Park'for 200, tbo Cliurc.h of Christ liienic at Sjuing Grove for a similar number, and the balance was made up of ordinary excursionists, of whom four carriage loads went to Tp.dmor.
