MOTUEKA DISTRICT MEETING.

The annual meeting of delegates of the Motupka district, M.U., 1.0.0.F was held in the Oddfellows' Hall, Motueka, on Tuesday (writes our correspondent), there being present P G M Bro. ,C. Pago, D.P.G.M. *Bro. Reg Win; delegates, Bro. J. F. Rose, W. J Roilly, W. G. Humphries (Takaka), W. Boyce, H. Riimbold, C. J, Boyes, G. Chapman (Motueka), E. W James, A. Inglis, H. Everett (Rivraka), S. Win, W. Thorn (Dovcdale), Tyler Goo. Boyce. The balance sheet was road, showing the widow and orphans district fund to p be worth £3899 7s 7d. The lodge book examiner reported that the books of the Motueka, Takaka, and Good Intention Lodges w\re especially well kept, and ho desired to acknowledge the courtesy of the various secretaries. . The C.S., Bro. C. Fry, reported having attended the bi-ennial meeting of tiro Movable Committee and ->^ye a resume of the work done. The total worth of the lodges in the district was as follows:—Motueka, £AS4o 2s lid ; Takaka, £2229 12s 5d South Star (Dovcdale), £1257 os Id! Total, £12,923 IGs lOd. It was resolved that in future three delegates be allowed to Motueka Lodge, two to Riwaka, two to Takaka and one to Dovedale. This will be a reduction of four, and will reduce the expense of the district meeting considerably. Bios. Everett and Canavan were re-elected auditors. Bro. Rog Win was elected Grand Master and Bro.
