NELSON SCHOLARSHIP RESULTS.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES

i The results of the examinations held in the Nelson district in. NovemberDecember last for Junir, National, and Education Board Junior Scholarships, and for the special examination of candidates for Junior Free places in secondary and technical schools, have been received by the Secretary of the Nelson Education Board. The ■ Board's Inspectors will make the following recommendations respecting the scholarships and bursaries, which will be awarded by tho Board at its meeting on Monday, the 30th Lust :— L—JUNIOR NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS. (Tenable for three years; value o£ scholarship, £10 a year and free tuition, together with an allowance of £30 a year if holder is obliged to live away from homo in order to attend College or District High School; two scholarships available, one being open only to candidates from schools having an average attendance of 40 or under.)
