xVt the Foilding Show to-day the Minister of Agriculture was present, and Messrs Dunlop and Keith (Scottish. Commissioners) were also visitors. Thare- was a good first day attendance. Tho judges' comments were to the .effect that all the stork was in wonderfully good fettle. The, principal results were: — Maiden hunters, Mr Northcott'j: Mischief. In the pony classes tlie win-nea-s were, S J. Sanson, Fre-I. Hoult, M. Moynihan, and A. D. Williams. Harness horses, Moult aixl Son, Miss Grace; Hob-crts-oii, H. E. Hocke.ii, J, Goring, and Johnston, obtained firsts. Draughts: .1. D. Mitchell, E. Short, ar,:l J. P. Connor. Pedigree cattle: T. Duncan, first in Shorthorns; E. Short and C. J. A. Levatt, with Herofoids; T. Colpman and J. M. Wratt with Ayrsliiros; S. It. Lancaster with Jerseys. In the (kiry c-I-jpsps Mr Lancaster was the primipal winner, Mr R. Charmley being runnei-urj. "\Vitli fat cattle, T. Dunra.ii, E. P. Swainson, <md E. Short divided the fist piizc. In tho fat s-hciop classes- W. Reed and S. F. McRae were tho leading exhibitors ; in pure bred Roninpys, W. Gibson anil J. E. Hnwitt. In Lincoliis, J. W. Bratby took both championships. In Border Leiccst-prs, Jos. Dowthwaitc was the most successful exhibitor. In English Leirestei-s S. R. Lancaster took both championships, nnd for SputlidowiLs J. Kn,idit got the championships. In Cheviots Chas. Cantook all the prizes. In |)i KS Mondeton and Fetch were the chief winners.
Tlkt Scottish Commissioners were entertainchl to-night at a dinner by tho Chamber of Commerce, and afterwards at a smoke concert by tlie A and P. Association,
