(Received April 21, 0.5 a.m.) Sydney. April 20. Full details of the foundering of the Satara. will not ,be available, before the morning, when the steamer Dorrigo, with the rescued crew, is expected to reach Sydney. -' The latest news from Seal Bocks states that all excepting two coolies «ere saved. - -'" :
The Satara left Newcastle this morning, when a heavy sea. was running, with fierce squalls. She struck the Edith breaker," just outside Seal Hocks, and lies about; five miles south by east of the lighthouse, right in. the course. of coastal vessels. The Waves were breaking over her when the- Satara, in distress, passed the Orara. but did notipeak her. The lighthouse signalled the Orara to render assistance,' and the latter at once made for. the scene. In the meantime tho sinking vessel had launched her boats, four getting clear just before she plunged under. The castaways were' taken on board the Qrara with difficulty, owing to the heavy sea. When aboard it was discovered that two coolies were missing. The steamer Dorrigo came to the scene and assisted in a futile search for the missing men. -^ j ""■■-_' Tho two rescue steamers to Seal Rocks. Bay, where the Dorrig^o took the castaways aboard and proceeded to Sydney.
