The steamer Wakatipu, en route to Melbourne, full of cargo, grounded opposite' Kelso Jetty, near the entrance to the river Taniar, through her failure to answer, her helm . The vessel is in no dangerj' but tho cargo will have to be lightered before she. will come off. The- work is proceeding. The passengers were safely transferred to a fiver steamer. .
