WRECK OF THE PERICLES.
DEFECTIVE CHARTS. London, April 15. Tlie "Standard" states that the verdict in the Pericles wreck inquiry is unsatisfactory, because it confirms the repeated allegation that Australian waters are improperly charted. The paper adds that it is possible that some vessels which figured as missing on Australian voyages were similarly lost. .
