WEDDINGS.

COOPER— CLUTTEN. A very pretty wedding was celebrated at tiie Cathedral on Tuesday, when Mr W. G. Cooper, of the Telegraph Department, Auckland, was married to Miss Celia Clutten, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs G. H. Clutten, of Nelson. The church, which was prettily decorated, was well filled by friends, and the ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. P. KempthoiJie. The bride was^ attended by her sister, Miss Dora Clutten, and* Miss Ive iSvereft as bridesmaids, and Mr H. Flett, of Auckland, acted as best man, Mr H. C. Morgan, of Nelson, being groomsman. The bride was attired in a lovely dress ot rich merve silk, trimmed with silk lace, and she wore a veil and a wreath of orango blossoms, and carried a bouquet of various white flowers, tied with hand-painted ribbons. Miss Clutten wore a dress of pale blue crystalline, a black hat -with colours to match, and she carried- a boiiquet of belladona lilies. Miss- Everett's dresh was of pale pink crystalline, and she also wore a black hat with colours to match, and carried a bouquet of hydrangeas. At tho conclusion of tho ceremony the "Wedding March" was played by tho Cathedral organist, Mr Naylor. A reception was afterwards held by Mr and Mrs Clutten at their residence, a farge number of guests being present. Air and Mrs Cooper are proceeding to Auckland via Wellington and East Coast towns. The bride's going away costume was of fancy serge; of vieux rose, with black-trim-mings', and she wore a white waterway silk hat trimmed with white chiffon and ostrich plumes.
