JACKSON— DE CASTRO.
Yesterday morning at All Saints' •Church, Miss Muriel c!e -Castro, oldest daughter of Mr W. "W. de Castro, of Nelson, was married to Mr Ed. Jackson, of Nelson,' the Rev. W. S. Lucas officiating. The brido wore a charming gown of ivory chiffon tatfeta, with panel of heavy., silk embroidery, and carried .a pretty shower bouquet of white roses and maidenhair. She was given away by her father, and was attended by two bridesmaids, her sister, Miss Margaret <Ie Castro, and Miss Barraud, of. Lower Hutt. They wore dainty blue silk empire frocks, with hats to 'match and 'carried bouquets of yellow and cream roses. The. bridegroom's presents to the -bridesmaids were gold pendant brooches set with amethysts. Tho bridegroom was attended by Mr W. Houlker as best man, and Mr Allan de Castro as groomsman. As the wedding party left the church, Mr do Looze played the wedding march. After the ceremony a reception was held at tho residence of the bride's parents, Mount street. The bride's mother was beautifully gowned in silver blue taffeta, with black picture hat. The bride's travelling dress was a tailor-made cream cloth costume with touches of black and largo black hat.
