NELSON COLLEGE OLD BOYS' FOOTBALL CLUB.

The annual meeting of the above was held last night, when thirty members were present. Mr J. Houlker presided. The report and balance sheet were adopted. It was shown the, membership numbered 55, namely, 39 active, 7 honorary, and 9 country members. The club finished the year with a credit balance of £15 18s lOd. The chairman congratulated the club upon its financial position and its struggle for the senior championship. Twenty-one now members were elected, Messrs Vercoc and Richmond were appointed as coaches for the junior team. The annual fixture with the College was left in the hands of the committee.' The election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mr H. L. Fowler; vice presidents, Messrs J. Houlker, C. H; Broad, W. Devcnish, E. B. Mooro and Dr Gibbs ; club captain, Mr P. C. Edmondson (re-elected) ; lion secretary, Mr'N. A. Vereoe; hon treasurer, Mr G. Richmond (re-elect-ed) ; management committee, Messrs McKay, Moyes, Bisley, Emerson and Topliss; Delegates to the Rugby Union Messrs Vercoo and Emerson; hon auditor, Mr A. C. Cooke. Messrs Vereoe, Richmond and Bisley were appointed to arrange for the tournament at Easter. Messrs Vereoe, Bisley and Edmondson were chosen as the Selection Committee to select teams for Easter. Mr K. C. Akers offered a gold medal to be awarded to the best place kick in the junior team. Mr G. Richmond's medal for the best senior forward was won by Mr K. C. Akers. Mr Richmond offered another trophy for a like competition. Notices of motion, were given as follows: (1) That the white knickers be altered to black ones ; (2) That the i subscription of. players be, over 18 years of age, 10s each; and under 18 years of age, ss. A vote of thanks to the chair brought the meeting to a close.
