ROYAL STANDARD PICTURES.
A full house greeted the change ol bill last night at the Driuds' Hall, ( when a, splendid programme of ani- ( mated pictures were screened—fourteen dilrereht subjects, and each and every one met with the approbation of a well pleased audience. The programme, which was withdrawn the previous evening, was an excellent one, but these are even better. lfc is now proved beyond doubt that Mr Pethenck is giving Nelson, tne very best things going in the moving picture line, and it is therefore not \ surprising that a large number of patrons attend nightly. The . programme opened with "Buck Wheat Blossoms," a fin© picture from the . south of France; "Satan in. Prison." is one of those mysterious trick conjuring films that must be seen to be believed j "The Press Gang," "The > Mule Driver's Daughter," "The Mountebank's Son," and the cele--brated Nick Carter in the "Jewel Affair," are all dramatic stories well told and shown. "Mysterious Afri- . ca,' '■. ' 'Ski J uniping,'' and ' 'The Mau;retania at Fisbguard" are also good. As for the comics it is possible to laugh too much, and "A Man of Many Falls," "A Curious Invention" and "Waterproof Willie" can certainly be charged, with causing! screams of laughter.
