' A letter was read from the New Zealand Council in regard -to the method of '■fima'aicing the visit of the Australian XI and the objection raised by the Wellington' Association. After discussion it was decided that Nelson could riot accept a match under the proposed new arrangement ,but would .be-quite willing io adhere to its original guarantee of £50 for a '-prame -under the ..pooling system.
