SALE OF JERSEY CATTLE.

[United Pbess Association.] Stratford, Oct 26. A sale of pedigree Jersey cattle took plooehere to-day, when Mr JNewton King acted as auctioneer. The demand was keen and good prices were realised. A three year old bull named leJephone, belonging to Mr A Buchanan, of Pabnerstoii North, was bought by Mr W Bishop of Waitui, for 43 guineas. Two yearling bulls realised 19* and 17 guineas. A cow named Bella 11, fetched 31} guineas! and another named Carnation, was sold for 25 guineas. Yearling heifers realised up to 15J guineas, and calves 8} guineas.
