William Logan, a settlor, and a member of the Woodville County Council, met with a serious accident some time yesterday. He was riding his horse over the back portion of his farm, which, is rough/country, when the horse fell over a cliff and- broke his neck. Logan was knocked'insensible by the fall, and he lay out all night. He was discovered by a couple of neighbours about ten o'clock this morning.' It was then discovered that Logan had his left leg broken above the. knee, and blood was all over his body and face. He was immediately conveyed to Pabiatua Hospital. ' where the limb was set; Logan was not quite conscious when the doctors left him. . . . '
