INTERESTING TESTS IN
ENGLAND

London, March 18. In order to test the practicability of employing motor cars in warfare, the Automobile" Association conveyed a battalion of Guards in full strength, with baggage, from London to Hastings in 3J hours. In all 286 cars arid' 2B lorries were employed, and the column was seven miles long, v Only a few minor mishaps occurred.
