PEA RIFLE ACCIDENT.

Wellington, March 9. i A youth named von Keysenberg '■ was admitted to the Hospital on Sunday suffering from a wound in the throat inflicted by a pea rifle exploding while he was out rabbit shooting. He died shortly after admission, the windpipe having been cut. The father at present is in the hospital and the mother died recently. . ■ . Later. At the incjuest on the boy Keyseii- ■ berg, the victim of a pea rifle, accident, deceased's brother said that he - he and deceased and two* others vero out camping. Deceased's coat caught on the trigger of his rifle, and whilo witness was endeavouring to release it, the rifle went off, deceased being shot in the wind-pipe. A verdict of accidental death was returned, the Coroner, Dr McArthur, S.M., adding a rider that he could not express too . strongly his disapproval of lads •n.'ho had no knowledge of them, taking out guns. .
