Christchurch, March 4. ' There is not such a large quantity wheat offering as in the early part of last week, and growers are inclined to ask a little more. The only sales reported are 2500 bushels of Tuscan and 800 bushels of Hunters, at 3s 6d,, at country stations, though other busU ness has been done at the same figure. Many of the samples offering are in doubtful condition, or otherwise buying wouid probably be. more free. ._ A fair quantity of oats is coming foi ward, and finding sale at quotations..: Lines of 440U bushels and 800 bushels of Gartons at Is 3d, and 2200 bushels O of Duns at Is 2id, at country stations, have changed hands.'
