A RAILWAY EMPLOYEE INJURED.

Dunedin, March 4. A man named Charles Keeley, a wheel tapper on the railway, was badly injured this morning at Balclutha. Ho stepped from a carriage platform of the express train standing_at the station, and he was struck by a shunting engine then passing at & fair pace. He was knocked a considerable distance, and sustained injury to the collar-bone, and it is feared that his spine is badly hurt. In tbe afternoon Keeley was removed to Dunedin, and was conveyed to the hospital. He is a married man ,about 56 years of age, and he has a family, of six. .; . .
