A BOYCOTT.
Auckland, Feb 24. ' Mr Long, secretary to the Hotel and Restaurant Employees' Union, states that a case comes before the Conciliation Commissioners next Wednesday,, but, :: so far as the Union is concerned 1 , it . will not occupy . five minutes. : The Union, pursuing their objection 1 to the appointment., of lilr Giles, will decline to go into details, and ask to have the dispute, taken direct' to the Arbitration Court.- Mr Long, who is . also' President of. , th c Tirades and ■"■ Labour Council,- states that the whole of the unions affiliated to the CouncU'Syvill' follow a 'similar course. . „ . :
