"The Tiinos" says the problem confronting Imperial statesmanship is the reconciliation of the growing forces of nationalism in the autonomous dominions with the principle of common aims and common action in crucial questions affecting the Empire as a whole. It advises Imperial - statesmen to acquaint themselves at first hand with the feelkgs and ambitions' of the colonies.
