GRAVE COMPLAINTS.

Auckland, March 5. At the Trades and Labor Council meeting it was alleged that poor timber was being put iu the workmen's homes, and tbat in some instances the health of the occupants would be endangered. It was decided to request the local bodies to get toeir building insptctors to report on the class of timber being used in all buildings. It. was alleged that rotten and sewage-soaked timber had been used for building.
