There'was'again^a fair^attendance at the , Theatre? RoyalJCon evening, when the'llast 'performance was grven of living' whist and Kirmess in aid of the Old Peoples Home rebuilding fund,., under the direction, of , Professor Sheets, and the auspices \ of the Uharita-ble Aid Board. . The '$ went ■well, and the audience was highly appreciative. Miss Reeves, -was.de- : servedly encored f.6f a vocal contrii butionj and Mr Berryman's cornet solo was appreciatively received. In the afternoon a matinee performance waa given, at which the Theatre was comfortably filled. It is anticipated that tho financial results vvil be satisfactory.
