The quarterly summoned meeting i was held at the Rechabite Hall last night, when there was a good at-. tendance of members. C.R. Bro. W. Day presiding. The balance sheet, duly audited, was presented, and it showed continued prosperity financially, and an increase in the number of members in good standing. Two members were admitted on i clearance from the Swindon Tent, Wiltshire, England. The following officers were duly elected and installed^by P.C.K. Bro. W. Day:-C.R. Bro. T. Robb, D.K. Bro. J. COURT PRIDE OF THE FOREST A.O.F. The half-yearly summoned meeting of Court Pride of tne_Forest,A.O.F., was held at the Courtroom, at Wakapuaka, on Saturday evening, when there was a good attendance of members, Bro. M. 0. Frost, O.K., presiding. The balance sheet and auditors' report stated the total worth of the funds at £2108 6s 9d, of which £1999 -4s 3d belongs to the sick and funeral fund, and £109 2s 6d to the management fund. The increase to the sick and funeral fund for the half-year was £30 14s lOd, notwithstanding that the sick pay for the half-year has been exceptionally heavy, owing to the prevalence of influenza, the sum of £46 6s being disbursed as against £8 13s 4d for the previous term. The report also stated . that the funds are all well invested on mortgage and debenture securities, returning the current rates of interest. An official visit was paid the Court by Bro, E. Fleming, D. C. R., and Bros. Bethwaite, P.D.C.R. Easdale and W. .). Moffatt, of Courts Robin Hood and Perseverance also yjsited the Court. Bros. A. Wasfcney and H. |Dodson were elected as Auditors for the ensuing year. The Trustees were accorded a hearty vote of thanks for their S9rvices in the past, Bro. T>Barnett.P.S, the mover, speaking ap. preciatively of the attention given by that body to matters of finance. Bro. Alborough was elected as delegate to the district meeting, to be held at Nelsoa next month. One person was proposed for membership. A vote of tnanks to the visiting district officers and brethren was heartily accorded, and in acknowledging the same the District Uhief Ranger com plimented the Court on the manner in which the business was conducted, and also congratulated them on the satisfactory financial condition of the uourt. Bros. Easdale and Moffattadded tbeir congratulations, remarKmg on the small amount expended in management, and the healthy state of the management fund, espe cally as that fund bad to bear substantial mileage charges for medical attendance on members, the sum of £18 17s 6d having been paid on this account during the last iialf-year. Expression was also given to the desire that a closer federation of the various Courts and districts in fthe Dominion would yefc be effected, and that the benefits derived from membership would be materially increased.
