COURT SHERWOOD FOREST, A.O.F.
The half-yearly meeting' of this Court was h9ld on Tuesday evening at the Court room, Stoke, when there was a good attendance of members. Bro. Kaynor Ching, 0.X.,' presided. Bros. K. Hunter, D.S., .and Bethwaite and Salter, P.D. - C. R. s, paid an official visit to the Court. &to. Jas. Ching was eleoted dele gate to the coming District Meeting, to be held in Nelson in February" Bros. D. Cressvvell and Wilfred Cbing were elected auditors. The following officers were duly installed in their respective offices by the retiring C.R. :— C. R., Bro.G, Taylor : S. C. K. , Bro E. Best : S. W. . Brb. H. B. Ching; J.W., Bro. P. Kenning; B. 8., Bro. E. Bovey; J. 8., Bro. A. Mundy. The statement of funds for the half-year endig December 31st, 1907, credited the sick and fuenral with £1925 (3s 9>£d ; and the management fund with £1 29 3%. A vote of thanks was accorded the District officers and visiting brethren for their visit. Bros. Salter and R. Hunter, in acknowledging the vote, expressed satisfaction at- the number of young members taking office.
