GARRISON BAND CONCERT

The open air concert given in tbe evening by the Garrison Band assisted by* the Nelson Male Glee Party in the Botanical Reserve drew" a large crowd who much enjoyed the programme of music provided. The band played the two te3t selections and march • for the New |Plymouth contest which they attend later in the month. The four items contributed by the Glee Party||were greatly appreciated by the audience. The band feel very gratelull to the gentlemen of the for the assistance rendered by them. The silver coin collection, which goes to tbe band contest fund amounted to £16.
