Received July 25, 10.44 p.m. Brisbane, July 20. In the Assembly the Premier moved the postponement of the debate on the Address-in-Reply till Tuesday. | He stated there were three parties, almost equal in strength, and he thought one of the parties in opposition would make a pretence of supporting the Government. Had they done so, it would have been bis duty I to retain office. He moved the post- * ponement of the debate to give him nn opportunity to further consider bis position. The House adjourned until luesJay. It is undestood that a coalition 1 ivill be arranged between Mr Philp | md Mr Kidston.
