United Press Asro station. Wellington, July 18. HOUSE. In the House the Petone Water Snpply Conservation, the Wanganui Harbor, and the Magistrate's Court Act Amendment Bills were read a first tima. The Coal Mines Act Amendment Bill No. 2 was read a second time pro forma, arid referred to the Mines Committee. The Pure Food and Public Trust Amendment Bills were read a third time and passed. The Rotorua Town Bill wag taken in Committee; Mr darroil introduced the second reading of the Tohitnga Suppression Bill. ~ nn On the House resuming at 7.30 p.m. the Land Laws Amendment Bill, the Land and Income Tax Amendment Bil and the National Endowment Bill were brought down by Governor's message, and read a first " Mr Wilford resuiiied the debate on the Tohunga Suppression Bill which was continued by Messrs Ngata, Major and A. Fraser. The second reading was agreed to and the Bill was referred to the Native Affairs Committee for report. The second reading of the Police Offences Act Amendment Bill, the Products Export Amendment Bill was agreed to on the voices. in The Farriers Bill was read a third tinie and assed. The Hotise rose at 9. 30. p.m.
