STOKE.
The half-yearly summoned meeting of Court Sherwood Forest, A.0.F., was held at the Stoke Public Hall on Tuesday evening, when there was a. good attendance of the brethren* The balance sheet showed the Court to be worth £1865 Os !jd, divided thus —Sick Fund, £1848 108 9}£d; Management Fund, £16 9a 7f£d. During the past half; year £38 13s id was disbursed in sick pay. The officers elected for tho ensuing term are— Bro Raynor Ching, Chief Eanger; Bro J F Black, Sub-Chief Ranger; Bro W Condell, Treasurer; Bro James Ching, Secretary ; Bro E Best, Senior Woodward ; Bro H C Ching, Junior Woodward; Bro E Bovey, Senior Beadle. Bro E Fleming, the District; Sub-Chief, paid an official visit, and he was accompanied by Bro R Hunter, the District Secretary, and Bro W V Salter, a Past District Chief Ranger. Doctors Andrew, Lucas, and Bett were elected as Court Surgeons. Bro James Ghing was olected as a Delegate to the District meeting. The members passed a resolution in tavor of establishing a Subsidiary High Court in New Zoaland. The visiting brethren were thanked, and the Foresters' fire was given in their honor.
