LOYAL HOWARD LODGE. The annual summoned meetngof the above Lodge wa-1 heid it the . Oddfellows'' Hall, Waih'ea street, last evening, S"oble Grand W. Liddle presiding, rhe Balance sheet for the past six nontts was read and adopted, Jhe statement of accounts shows fche Sick md Funetal Fund to be valued at £7433 4s lid, an increase of £132 15s id. The Management Fund snows a credit of £22 10s Bd. The Surplus Fund account stands at £1209 Os 4d, bhe total value of the Lodge being £8665 los sd. The sick pay disbursed during the lasjfc half year wa£ JPI66 1 6s :3d. Dr Hiidfon who has held the position of Surgeon for many years, attended and announced his intention to retire on the 30th June next, in the meantime Dr Betts has been apppointed as his locum tenens. It was unanimously resolved that the Lodge place pn record its appreciation of the services rendered by Dr Hudson « during the long term of years, . for which he . has held lhe officS of Lodge Surgeon, and its regret than circumstances have rendered H • necessary . fpr aim to sever his : connection with the , Lodge. Dr Hudson suitably replied. The following were appointed as delegates to the District meeting, to be held at Richmond next month:— P. P. G.M, 's Bros Batchelor; Moyes, Topliss, Kitching, and Corder. The following officers were elected for the ensuing, six months'— Grand Master Bro W Liddle, Noble Grand Bro A Stephens, Vice Grand Bro A Davies, Elective Secretary Bro A Shrimpton, Permanent Secretary A N Batchelor, Treasurer W Moyes. The Provincial Grand Master, Bro A Day, and Deputy Grand Master, Bro G 'Hammond, were present and invested the incoming officers with their respective sashes, and the thanks of the Lodge were duly accorded to theni. ,
