COURT ROBIN HOOD, N0.3930, A.O.F.

The annual summoned meeting of members of Court Rob- j in Hood, No. 3930, A. O. F. was held in the Foresters^ I Hall last evening, when there was a good attendance oi members. Bro H Bethwaite, P.C-R., in the absence ol the Chief Ranger, Bro Ritchie, presided. The Auditors' report and balance sheet was read, and adopted. The latter showed that the total worth of the Court was £7878 2s, being divided as follows— Sick Fund £7805 lis sd, and Management Fund £72 10s 7d. The funds showed an increase for the half year of £164 7s sd. During the half year the sum of £204 5s was paid away in sick pay and £135 5s for medicine and medical attendance. Six new members were initiated during the same term, bringing the total membership up to three "hundred and eight. Dr Hudson; who-has been Court Surgeon for the past twenty-five years, intimated that he intended resigning the nosition from 30th June, 1907, Dr "Hudson was re-elected Court Surgeon for the ensuing term, and at a later stage he returned thanks to the brethren for his re-election. Two new members were initiated. Bros T H Jones and W V Salter were re-elected as Auditors, and Bros W T Bond,H W Bethwaite, and R Nicol as delegates to the District meeting After disoussion, it waswresolved to support a proposal to establish a Subsidiary High Court for New Zealand. Bro R C Withers, D.C.R., who paid an official visit to the | Court, was accorded a hearty vote of thanks, as was Bro A Dodson D.T., who was also present.
