PROPOSED TRAINING COLLEGE AT AUCKLAND.

Auckland, September 19. Plans of the proposed Training College were submitted by the architect at a meeting of the Board of Education to-day. It was pointed out that the first estimate of the cost was for about £5000, but certain additions, notably a large swimming bath, had been required, which had raised the cost to between £6000 and £7000. The Secretary was under the impression that the amount available was not more than £5000. The Board decided to forward the' plans to the Department.
