At the half-yearly meeting of the City Bank the report showed the profits to be £6650, which, added to the balance of £1438 from last half, would provide a dividend of two and a half per centum, which was declared, and £1000 was added to the reserve, and £1500 was carried forward. 3
Tbe Commercial Banking Company of Sydney shows profits of £87,877, and a dividend of 10 per centum has been declared, £15,000 transferred to reserve andj£22,B77 carried forward. Both reports indicated increased business and improving outlook.
