NELSON RUGBY UNION.

A meeting of the above-named Union was held last evening. Dr. Andrew presiding, and about a dozen delegates being present. Resolved, that the Senior representative team be picked from the Senior players. An application from the Albion Olub to place W. Millar on their Juniors' list wad not granted, his name appearing on their Senior list. Resolved to suggest to the Marlborough Rugby Union that the representative .match bo played on August 11th. Resolved to send a letter of condolence to the widow and family of the late Mr j. A* Harley, who was a Vice-President of the Union. Eesolved, that the sub-committee report further on the Seniors' improvement scheme, and that the Secretary write to the Hawke's Bay Rugby Union for information respecting the district scheme. Resolved, that the entries for the 1 Senior seven-a-sido close on August Ist. The following referees were chosen for the matches on Saturday: — Seniors: Rival versus Albion, Mr Chisholtn. Juniors: Nelson versus Uuia, at Motueka, Mr Logan ; College versus Waimea, at Richmond, Mr Glover. Second Juniors: College versus Albion, Mr Atkinson; Rival versus Waimea, at the Park, Mr Nalder. Third-class: Rival versus College, at the Park. Mr Batohelor. A vote oi" thanks to the Chairman brought the meeting to a close. The Albion team for the match on Saturday against the Rivals will be chosen from the following : Messrs Williams, C. and 11. Pike, Gay nor, Taylor, Treweek, Kinzetr, Whiting, Grant, Pairey, Nesbitt,Bj|fer, Louisson, Johansen, Aydon, ana Stanbridge.
